Description

Crafted from recycled 18/10 stainless steel, the Dorotea grinder brings minimalist elegance to any table. The ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism is located at the top of the grinder to prevent spices sprinkle onto the table when the grinder is placed down and offers a smoother, more consistent grind with gravity-assisted design.

Comfortable to hold and easy to control, it features four adjustable settings from fine to coarse and works with salt, pepper, and dried spices.

The design is inspired by the natural area around the small village of Dorotea. Here, ice has created a landscape of mountains, valleys and large open areas which together form soft, fluid shapes that endlessly flow together. This transition is often overlooked, but the adventurous and surprising part of the design lies precisely here. With its minimalist and organic shapes, the Dorotea collection combines tradition and artisanal design on an international level.

The Dorotea mills are made from recycled stainless steel. This design comes in both a polished and matte finish.

Dorotea received the international design prize German Design Award in 2025 in the category Excellent Product Design.
